The quality of an object’s surface significantly impacts the accuracy of the scan. Smooth, matte, and light-colored surfaces are ideal. Reflective or glossy surfaces may require a specialty scanning spray to ensure accurate data capture. Surface preparation is crucial for optimal results.
3DScanSTL can scan adults who can remain still during the scanning process. However, they do not scan children or live animals, as these subjects may not stay still long enough to capture accurate data.
